How to choose an AI text detector: seven things worth comparing
Detectors differ less in accuracy than in what they put in your hands. Compare whether the tool handles Czech and Slovak, whether it shows specific sentences or just one number, what it does with your texts and whether it remembers how you write. Accuracy itself cannot be verified from the outside for any detector.
Does it handle Czech and Slovak
Most detectors were built on English texts, and Czech and Slovak are secondary languages for them. Inflection, free word order and shorter corpora mean the model behaves differently than it does on English. Before you deploy a tool, run five texts through it whose authors you know for certain — three human and two generated.

Sentences instead of a single number
A result of "68 % AI" does not let you do anything. You cannot take it to a student or to an author. A detector that marks specific sentences gives you something you can read and judge for yourself.
